The Frontline Counsellor
A way to move forward.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or not quite yourself. Sometimes this is linked to current pressures or demands. Other times it connects to things that have been there for longer than you might realise.
How I work
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed practice and shaped by over 26 years’ experience working in high-pressure environments.
Gaining knowledge of how the past may be contributing to how you feel and respond in the present, can be the key to unlocking a more regulated way forward. Therefore a key part of the work is understanding when things first began to feel this way.
The focus is on understanding, not judgement, and working at a pace that feels manageable.
Get in touch today
In therapy, we work together to understand what’s happening for you day to day, including the patterns that may be contributing to how you respond in certain situations.
Over time, this can help you understand why certain reactions or choices show up, especially when they don’t feel helpful or feel out of your control.
As this develops, many people begin to feel more aware of what’s driving their responses, and more able to manage situations in a steadier way.
A phone call away
I offer a free 15-minute initial call.
It’s a chance to talk through what’s brought you here, ask any questions, and see whether it feels like a good fit.
Sessions are available online, in person or any format that suits you.
